Mía Maestro

  

Mia Maestro was born on 19 June 1978. She is an Argentine singer and actress. Her most well-known roles include roles as Nora Martinez in The Strain, Nadia Santos in the TV drama Alias as Christina Kahlo on Frida as Carmen in The Twilight Saga, and as Marianela in For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story.


 Careers and early life



 Maestro was born in Buenos Aires on 19 June 1978. Maestro made her screen debut in the film of Carlos Saura Tango, which received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Film. Maestro who was trained in Argentina she traveled to Berlin to learn about the repertoire of vocals for Kurt Weill's and Hanns Eisler. Her first acting role was in The Summer Trilogy by Carlo Goldoni. She later won the coveted title of Lulu in Frank Wedekind's Pandora's Box at San Martin Theater in her hometown, Buenos Aires. She was awarded the "Ace" Award as Best New Artist.
